The can is the real article, manufactured in Latvia to the original 1937 NATO pattern. Cold rolled steel 0.9 mm (0.035 in) thick, fully welded recessed seams rather than crimped metal, a powder coated exterior and a fuel resistant internal coating. It holds 20 liters (5.28 US gallons), stands 470 mm (18.5 in) tall and weighs 4.3 kg (9.5 lb) empty. The profile and mount pattern are NATO STANAG, so it sits correctly in a standard NATO can holder. A bayonet latch closure seals leak proof in any orientation, an integrated breather pipe keeps the pour smooth instead of glugging, and the three handle top means one person can carry it or two can share it. The can is CARB and EPA compliant and UN certified for hazardous liquid transport.

The Wavian safety spout is included, clipped to the can the way it ships from the factory, and that same spout fits the 10 liter Wavian can as well if you run both sizes.

The Mega Siphon is the other half of the kit. It is a long clear flexible hose with a metal fitting on one end that goes down into the can, so fuel moves into a tank, a generator or another container on its own rather than by lifting 20 liters of it. The tubing is clear, which matters more than it sounds like it should, because you can watch the flow and shut it off exactly where you want.
