LNR-PL-12 Triple-R Linear-12 Elite LED Light Bar Set

The Triple-R Lights Linear-12 Elite is what happens when a company that builds motorsport lighting decides to make something you can live with every day. Sold here as a complete set, this is a serious upgrade over the discount light bars that flood the market, and it looks the part on a Rover long before you ever switch it on.

Inside the housing sit 24 individual 3W premium bin LEDs producing 8,100 raw lumens, with 5,767 lumens landing inside the driver's field of view where it actually matters. Color temperature is tuned to 5,000K, chosen for a natural white appearance that reduces eye strain on long night stages. The vacuum metallized reflector optics are engineered in house using CAD light simulation software to produce a genuine drive beam rather than a wall of glare, spreading 64 degrees horizontally and 18 degrees vertically. Reach is measured at 398 m (1,306 ft) to the 1 lux line, with the 0.25 lux line stretching out to 796 m (2,612 ft). Power draw is 84 watts, or roughly 5.8 amps at 14.4 volts, across a 10 to 32 volt operating range.

The Elite specification adds an integrated Daytime Running Light function, which gives the bar a distinctive signature strip during the day and turns a purely functional accessory into a styling element. The lamp measures 381mm (15 in) wide, 62mm (2.44 in) deep, and only 40mm (1.57 in) tall, and it weighs 0.82 kg (1.8 lbs). That low profile is the reason these bars tuck neatly into bumper openings, behind brush bars, and along roof racks without the wind roar that taller housings generate.

Build quality is where Triple-R separates itself. The lens is polycarbonate with a hardcoat lacquer and carries a lifetime guarantee against breakage. Pressure equalization runs through a GoreTex breather membrane, the housing is rated IP68 watertight with every lamp submersion tested before it leaves the factory, and dump load protection is certified to ISO 7637-2 with salt spray testing to ISO 9227. Electronic thermal management with dynamic control modulation trims output under extreme heat so the internals stay protected. Backing all of it is a 5 year warranty. The lamps are designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom.

Each set arrives with the lamps, stainless steel side mounting brackets with security fasteners, the full stainless hardware pack, and a pre wired 3 pin Superseal pigtail with a 25cm (9.84 in) tail on each lamp. Mounting is flexible enough for bumper, grille, roof rack, or bull bar installations. A relay wiring harness and switch are not included and are ordered separately based on whether you are running one lamp or two. Note that Triple-R lists this lamp as not for highway use in the United States, so it is intended for off road and auxiliary applications.
