Front radius arm bush kit for one arm on Range Rover P38 (1995 to 2002) with axle end and chassis end bushes

P38FSABUSHKIT Front Radius Arm Bush Kit Range Rover P38

  • $30.00

The front radius arms on a Range Rover P38 do a lot of quiet work. They hold the front axle in position fore and aft, keep caster where it belongs, and take the load every time you brake, accelerate, or climb a ledge. The rubber bushes at each end of those arms let the arm pivot while absorbing vibration. After years of use they crack, soften, and separate. Typical symptoms are a clunk under braking, steering that wanders, and uneven front tire wear.

The P38FSABUSHKIT contains every bush needed to fully rebush one front radius arm. It includes two ANR3332 bushes, which press into the front of the arm where it meets the axle, and two ANR2563 bushes, which locate the rear of the arm at the chassis mount. The P38 uses two radius arms, one on each side. To do both front arms, order two kits. Replacing both arms at the same time is recommended, because it keeps axle location even from side to side and gives you consistent handling.

Both bushes are built to the original Land Rover dimensions and fit without modification on the Range Rover P38 (1995 to 2002). That includes the 4.0 liter and 4.6 liter Rover V8 models sold in North America, as well as the 2.5 liter BMW diesel sold in other markets. The axle end bushes press into the radius arm eye, so a press or a dedicated radius arm bush tool makes the job much easier. If your Rover has started to feel loose up front, this kit addresses one of the most common causes.

[FAQ]
Does this kit do both sides of my Range Rover P38?

No. One kit rebushes a single front radius arm. A full front end on the Range Rover P38 (1995 to 2002) needs four ANR3332 and four ANR2563 bushes, so order two kits to do both arms.

What is included in the kit?

You get two ANR3332 front radius arm to axle bushes and two ANR2563 front radius arm to chassis bushes. That is everything needed for one arm. Mounting bolts and nuts are not included, so plan on replacing them if your original hardware is corroded.

Is installation difficult?

Removing the radius arm is straightforward. Pressing the ANR3332 bushes into the arm eye takes a hydraulic press or a radius arm bush tool. Most experienced home mechanics can do the job with the right tooling. Have the front alignment checked afterward.
