LFB500050SET5 Crankshaft Spigot Bush Set of 5 Defender

LFB500050SET5 is a set of five crankshaft spigot bushes, the small plain bush that seats in the spigot at the rear of the crankshaft, behind the flywheel. Every bush in the box is part number LFB500050, the current Land Rover number that replaces 8566L, and it covers four cylinder petrol/gas and diesel engines through the 300Tdi along with the five cylinder Td5.

Because it sits exactly where the engine and the gearbox meet, nobody goes after this bush on its own. It is a clutch job part. With the gearbox already out and the clutch in pieces, the spigot bush is cheap enough and buried deep enough that replacing it while everything is apart is simply good practice, and leaving a worn one in place means the whole job has to come apart again to reach it.
