00016 – Factor 55 Hawse Fairlead 1.0

  • $110.00

Big Radius. Low Friction. Longer Rope Life.

This is not your average Hawse fairlead. The Factor 55 1.0 Aluminum Hawse Fairlead is CNC machined in the USA from a solid 1-inch thick 6000 series aluminum bar — not the wimpy 0.75" fairleads most companies sell.

Why go thicker? Because larger outer radii reduce friction on your synthetic winch rope during hard-angle pulls. That means less wear, less heat, and a longer lifespan for your rope — especially when things get sketchy off-camber or during suck-down winching.

Also, if you're running larger ½” rope tube thimbles, this fairlead's taller slot is designed to let them pass cleanly — no snagging, no forcing, no sketchy jamming.

Key Features:

  • 1.0" thick 6000-series USA aluminum bar (CNC machined)

  • Designed for synthetic winch rope only

  • Taller slot height – fits larger ½” rope tube thimbles

  • Extra-large outer fillet radius = less stress on rope

  • Chamfered outer corners reduce stress when used for suspension suck-down

  • Gunmetal gray hard anodized (MIL-A-8625F TYPE III)

  • Machined Factor 55 logo – clean, sharp, no decals

  • Compatible with most standard winch mounts

  • Made in the USA

Why You Need This:

  • Keeps your synthetic rope alive longer — even under hard-angle pulls

  • Built specifically for off-roaders using modern ½” rope setups

  • Stronger, slicker, and better-looking than standard ¾” fairleads

  • No rattle, no flex, no-nonsense

Fitment Notes:

  • Bolt Pattern: Standard 10" mounting centers

  • Works with most winch bumpers & synthetic rope winches

  • Not for use with steel cable

  • Pair it with a Factor 55 FlatLink, UltraHook, or Rope Guard for a fully integrated system

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can I use this with steel cable?
A: No. This is for synthetic rope only — using steel will damage both the fairlead and the cable.

Q: Does it come with mounting hardware?
A: No, it’s just the fairlead. Use your winch's existing hardware or upgrade to stainless bolts.

Q: What size rope does this support?
A: Works with common synthetic ropes, including setups with ½" tube thimbles.
