Wavian 20L Red Jerry Can, Spout and Mega Siphon Kit

This is the Wavian 20 liter jerry can and the Mega Siphon sold together, because between them they cover both halves of the job. The can is the storage half, built to NATO specification. The Mega Siphon is the transfer half, and it saves you lifting a full can over your head to empty it.

The can is the real article, manufactured in Latvia to the original 1937 NATO pattern. Cold rolled steel 0.9 mm (0.035 in) thick, fully welded recessed seams rather than crimped metal, a powder coated exterior and a fuel resistant internal coating. It holds 20 liters (5.28 US gallons), stands 470 mm (18.5 in) tall and weighs 4.3 kg (9.5 lb) empty. The profile and mount pattern are NATO STANAG, so it sits correctly in a standard NATO can holder. A bayonet latch closure seals leak proof in any orientation, an integrated breather pipe keeps the pour smooth instead of glugging, and the three handle top means one person can carry it or two can share it. The can is CARB and EPA compliant and UN certified for hazardous liquid transport.

The Wavian safety spout is included, clipped to the can the way it ships from the factory, and that same spout fits the 10 liter Wavian can as well if you run both sizes.

The Mega Siphon is the other half of the kit. It is a long clear flexible hose with a metal fitting on one end that drops into the can, and it moves liquids from one container into another under their own weight rather than by lifting 20 liters of anything. Water, coolant, washer fluid, whatever you would rather not pour by hand. The tubing is clear, which matters more than it sounds like it should, because you can watch the flow and stop it exactly where you want.

So you get three things. The red Wavian 20 liter can with the gasoline label, the Wavian safety spout, and the Mega Siphon. The can ships empty.
