The Tom Wood's TWSC-P38R rear two joint driveshaft is a built to order replacement that uses a proven conventional layout while giving you a stronger, fully serviceable shaft.

A conventional two joint shaft uses a single universal joint at each end with a slip yoke to allow for suspension travel. It is the best choice for a Rover running at stock height or with no lift. If your Rover is lifted and the driveline angle has increased, Tom Wood's double cardan designs are better suited to those steeper angles.

Every Tom Wood's Land Rover shaft uses Gold Seal 1310 series universal joints. The 1310 series is the most widely used universal joint in the world, found in countless Ford, GM, Jeep, and Dodge applications, and it is very close in size and strength to the factory Land Rover universal joint. If a joint ever needs replacing, you can find one at nearly any driveline shop or parts counter.

Should I choose a two joint shaft or a double cardan shaft?

If your Rover is at stock height or has no lift, the conventional two joint shaft is usually the best choice. As lift height approaches 76mm (3 in), a double cardan shaft handles the steeper driveline angle better.

Will this driveshaft fit my Range Rover P38A?
