Lucky8 CFE Side Steps Kit L663 Defender 90/110/130

The Lucky8 CFE Side Steps give your Defender L663 a functional, good looking step up without the price tag of a factory installed option. CFE stands for Cost Friendly Edition, our line of smart, economical upgrades built for real use rather than showroom looks alone. These steps are not Genuine Land Rover parts, and we do not present them as such, but they are designed, fitted, and finished to hold up to daily driving, weekend trail use, and everyday in and out access.

This kit is offered in four styles. Union Jack is available for the Defender 90, and Union Jack, Gotham All Black, and All Black Tecno are all available for the Defender 110 and 130. Every style shares the same construction, a lightweight powder coated aluminum bar paired with a textured ABS step plate for secure footing in wet or muddy conditions. All mounting hardware is included, along with Genuine Land Rover trim clips, so installation is a bolt on process with no drilling or major fabrication needed.

Installation follows the standard Land Rover accessory fitting procedure for the L663 platform and mounts directly to the factory bolt points, so both a written install guide and a video walkthrough are available to make the job straightforward. These steps are compatible with factory mud flaps, though minor trimming may be needed depending on the exact mud flap fitted to your Rover.

The Defender 90 is available in Union Jack only. The Defender 110 and 130 can be ordered in Union Jack, Gotham All Black, or All Black Tecno, all sharing the same fit and hardware.

Are these Genuine Land Rover side steps?

No. These are part of our CFE line, a cost friendly alternative to a factory installed set, and are not sold as Genuine Land Rover parts. We do carry Genuine Land Rover side steps as a separate listing if a factory fit and appearance is what you are after.

Will these work with factory mud flaps, and do they reduce ground clearance?

Yes, they are compatible with factory mud flaps, though minor modifications may be needed depending on your specific mud flap style. Ground clearance is barely affected, since the step profile hugs the body for a low profile fit.
