This Defender L663 side ladder repair hinge kit is the ideal solution for replacing weak or broken hinges on the deployable ladder. Factory hinges are made from cast alloy and can easily fail under load—this upgraded hinge is CNC-machined from high-strength 7075-T6 billet aluminium and anodised black for durability and corrosion resistance. Supplied as a pre-assembled unit with a stainless steel centre bolt and two black stainless steel fitting bolts, this hinge provides superior strength and a perfect fit. Compatible with the deployable side ladder on all Land Rover Defender L663 models, it can be installed on either side of the ladder.
