QFW000020 Drop Arm & Ball Joint RHD – Defender (1983–2016)
The QFW000020 Steering Box Drop Arm with Ball Joint is designed for right-hand-drive (RHD) Land Rover Defender models from 1983–2016 equipped with power steering. This assembly connects the steering box output shaft to the drag link, transferring steering input precisely to the front wheels.
Manufactured to meet OEM specifications, the unit comes pre-assembled with the ball joint for faster installation and perfect alignment. It is compatible with Adwest 4-bolt power steering boxes only — not suitable for the earlier 6-bolt “Gemmer” type boxes.
Ideal for restoring tight, responsive steering feel, this part eliminates play and wear that can develop over time. Replace your worn or seized drop arm assembly with this high-quality component to ensure reliable steering performance and safety on- and off-road.

[FAQ]

A: No. The QFW000020 is specifically for right-hand-drive (RHD) models only. LHD vehicles require part QFW000030.
Q: Does the drop arm include the ball joint?
A: Yes. The ball joint is pre-installed, saving time and ensuring proper alignment with your steering linkage.
Q: How can I confirm compatibility?
A: Check your Defender’s steering box — this drop arm fits Adwest 4-bolt power steering boxes used on most RHD Defenders from 1983–2016. It will not fit early Gemmer 6-bolt units.
